BI Consultant - Digital Team - for a global consulting firm in USA -

This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina office. In this role, you will build scripts, ETL workflows, and visualizations while leading the design, build, test, execution and support of the data migration, cleansing, wrangling and more. Ideally, you have a detailed understanding of the underlying data and data structures of multiple systems to allow in depth analysis of existing and potential data insights.

Responsibilities:

Data Manipulation

Collect data from a wide variety of data sources, including various corporate databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Teradata, Oracle, etc.), Access, Excel, plain or formatted text files (csv-like), and no-SQL databases.
Parse data out of poorly structured XMLs, PDFs and HTML documents.
Automate repetitive tasks with scripts.

Data Organization

Build effective, reliable, and robust ETL processes that govern the data ingestion flow.
Design database models, consistent table structures, and advanced dimensional schemas that carry out data quality and consistency standards.
Apply modeling approaches, business intelligence patterns, and data management techniques.

Data Analysis

Demonstrate advanced SQL skills, such as CTEs and window functions, to work with extensive amounts of data at various aggregation levels.
Review and analyze legacy code/scripts to understand data processing logic and business rules.
Ability to apply statistical learning languages (such as R, SPSS, or SAS) to build predictive models that enrich, expand, and allow deeper understanding of data analyses and solutions.

Data Visualization

Use interactive data visualization tools, such as Tableau, to present results in a compelling manner.
Ability to tell a convincing story to C-level executives using visual charts and dashboards
Present complicated technical findings to a non-technical audience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with concentration in Computer Science.
Strong verbal and written English skills.
Three years minimum of applicable professional experience (relevant to the data manipulation, organization, analysis, and visualization field).
Proven data analysis / manipulation skills using SQL.
Knowledge of any of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
Familiarity with at least one ETL tool (such as SSIS, Pentaho, or DataStage).

Desirable Skills:

Retail industry knowledge (merchandising operations, customer analytics, pricing or promotion planning).
Experience with consumer led industry e.g. consumer services, research or packaged goods.

.NET Application developer

For our client, a leading global business advisory firm, we are looking for outstanding people to participate in challenging IT projects.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions.
Assist in the design and development of applications that interface with other enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
Communicate with product owners and business analysts to gather accurate specifications under direction of senior team members.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with concentration in Computer Science or similar
3 years of application development experience using .NET technologies (c#) preferred.
3 years of application development experience using Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
3 years of application development experience using algorithm development.
Expertise in the design and implementation of user-centric software, with focus on usability.
Experience consuming Web Services / Web API preferred
Knowledge or experience of, HTML5, JavaScript UI frameworks, CSS, and responsive design concepts.
Strong written and verbal English skills, both business and technical. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Ability to work independently and remain focused under time constraints.
Experience in trouble shooting with a penchant to provide high quality work is preferred.
Must have the ability to work full time. Authorized to work in applicable country and travel freely internationally without restrictions or visa sponsorship.

Pluses:

Knowledge of data visualization frameworks like D3JS preferred.
Experience with SSIS, SQL server and basic database operations is preferred.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is preferred.
Experience with CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) is preferred.

Front end - React / React Native

Buscamos una persona entusiasta, comprometida y enérgica para formar parte del equipo de IT de uno de los principales brokers del mercado argentino que tenga ganas de encarar nuevos desafíos en una Compañía que crece y busca transformar la manera de invertir de la gente.

Es importante que cuente con experiencia de al menos 3 años trabajando con React, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS.
Se valorará experiencia en Angular, Maquetado, Integración con API REST, lógica de Front-End. Y también que la persona tenga interés en comenzar a encarar el desarrollo de la nueva aplicación mobile que se hará con React Native.
